The Forge is the business community of Church of the Heartland — built specifically for entrepreneurs, operators, and business owners who want to grow with intention.
At its core, The Forge exists because we believe business owners play a unique role in shaping communities.
When business owners grow in clarity, character, and competence… it doesn’t just affect their companies — it impacts their families, their teams, and the people they serve.
Over time, we saw something clearly.
Many business owners are successful on paper…
but isolated in practice.
They don’t always have a trusted place to think out loud, ask real questions, or sharpen their thinking alongside other driven people who understand the weight of leadership.
The Forge exists to change that.
It’s a community built around:
Practical business growth
Honest conversations about leadership and responsibility
Faith-informed values without pressure or pretense
And a shared desire to build something meaningful and lasting
We believe entrepreneurship can be a powerful force for good — not just financially, but culturally and relationally.
That’s why The Forge exists.
And that’s why we host in-person gatherings like this one — to create space for business owners to step back, learn, sharpen one another, and move forward with clarity.

You’ll hear directly from people who’ve built and scaled real businesses — including deep experience in:
Paid advertising and direct-response marketing
Building predictable lead flow
Understanding what actually moves the needle in sales
Creating systems that don’t rely on you doing everything
This isn’t about “growth hacks.”
It’s about understanding what actually drives revenue and where most owners waste time.
Some of the biggest breakthroughs for business owners come from getting clear on how they show up in the market.
You’ll get insight into:
How your business is perceived from the outside
How to communicate what you do more clearly
How strong positioning and storytelling impact trust and referrals
This is especially valuable for owners who rely on reputation, referrals, and relationships to grow.
Running a business means carrying pressure most people don’t see.
At The Forge, we talk openly about:
Leading teams without burning out
Making hard calls when there’s no obvious right answer
Navigating growth, responsibility, and seasons of uncertainty
This isn’t motivational fluff — it’s practical perspective from people who’ve lived it.
One of the most valuable parts of the day is what we call the Stoplight Session.
Every attendee gets the chance to bring one real issue they’re currently facing — something that’s slowing them down or creating friction.
You’ll identify it as:
Green light - something working well
Yellow light - something that needs attention
Red light - something actively holding you back
Then, as a group, we work through it.
You’ll hear feedback, ideas, and insight from multiple business owners who’ve faced similar challenges — often unlocking clarity you wouldn’t reach on your own.
This session alone has been a turning point for many attendees.

Because this is a free event with limited capacity, we ask that attendees apply.
This isn’t about exclusivity — it’s about stewardship.
We want to make sure the people in the room are committed to showing up, engaging, and adding to the environment.
If everything you see here resonates with you, we'd love to have you!
